Our guarded processing facilities are access controlled and monitored, ensuring maximum protection of your assets throughout the entire process from start to finish. We guarantee that all assets are securely stored until processing begins.

Upon arrival at the processing facilities, your assets are weighed tagged and photographed to make sure nothing ever falls thru the cracks. At this stage all items which contain data are removed and sent to a locked and secured area. At this point all asset tags are removed and destroyed.

Then each item is individually sorted, bar-coded and scanned into our electronic asset tracking system. This allows for identification and tracking by manufacturer name, model number and serial number.

Once sorted, items containing sensitive data are scrubbed, overwritten, or otherwise emptied of all information and data before they are physically destroyed.

Items to be re-purposed are processed for reconditioning.

Items that have served their expected purpose or have reached the end of life stage are destroyed in accordance with all federal, state and industry-regulated standards.

Protecting tomorrow's future, today.

Southeast Electronic Recycling

As our world continues to grow, develop and progress, the introduction of newer, more efficient and faster equipment allows businesses to remain competitive. So, what happens to the outdated equipment? That’s where we come in. Hiring SEER’s experienced specialists for secure IT asset disposition and data destruction comes with the following valuable benefits to your business:

Security guarantee. As technology evolves, we are faced with new challenges in the form of information security and data protection. Electronically stored data can be an easy target for hackers looking to compromise privacy and steal personal or corporate information. At SEER, our experts are equipped to handle all levels of data security requirements. We guarantee the safeguarding of your digital data and 100% data destruction for all electronically stored information.

Compliance assurance. Today, virtually every organization from large to small is subject to some variation of industry-specific federal and state regulations governing the proper disposal of electronic equipment and the information it contains. Non-compliance with these standards can often result in harsh penalties. It becomes burdensome for businesses to be aware of each and every rule and regulation, and to stay current on the constant evolution of policies. SEER's industry professionals will help you choose the most suitable and secure method of data destruction that meets your business needs and industry-specific compliance and reporting requirements.

Environmental focus. To ensure the proper and environmentally sound disposal of electronics, governing agencies are imposing increasingly stringent requirements upon businesses. Many organizations are adopting greener practices to avoid costly fines and public relations nightmares. Further, our customers recognize that we all have a duty to protect and preserve our planet, focusing efforts on a greener today for a better tomorrow.  We are proud to offer our support to assist our clients in those efforts.

Business savings. Great potential exists for organizations to reclaim at least a portion of their equipment cost investment through tax breaks or by reconditioning used equipment for reuse or resale. SEER partners with a vast network of resources to resell reconditioned equipment, once again relieving your internal staff of such responsibilities. Imagine the economic benefit of recouping even pennies on each dollar spent on decommissioned IT equipment – the possibilities are endless! We also offer free pickup of equipment to our loyal customers.

SEER uses clearly defined processes to guarantee that all hard drives are completely overwritten, and that no hard drive is skipped during the process. SEER's audited processes provide you peace of mind, accountability and assurance that your company's privacy and corporate reputation remain intact when managing your IT assets. When you choose to work with SEER, you can be certain your data is safe. We apply the industry's top standards and practices in sanitizing your IT equipment. We guarantee our compliance in accordance with the standards of the US National Institute for Standards and Technology.

All equipment that is used for digital media or data storage is kept in a secured, locked holding facility until it is ready to be destroyed.

                                                                                          Proof of Data Destruction

Certificates of Data Destruction are provided for all equipment received. SEER guarantees your data against all forms of compromise.

*Extensive background checks are done on all new employees and IT security protocols are in place to protect client assets.

                                                                             Refurbish and Re-market Computer Assets

Re-marketing used equipment maximizes return on investment (ROI) and minimizes environmental impact. When assessing the resale potential of an IT asset, we consider the age, functionality, appearance and overall condition of the asset. We work directly with our clients to determine the disposal strategy that is most closely aligned with their business objectives. We employ a three-step process to accomplish this. Upon completion of evaluation, we determine if the product can be used as is. If this is not possible, we then assess whether the breakdown of parts has a measurable value. If then we decide that the equipment no longer has useful life, it is responsibly recycled. It is our goal to provide you the greatest return possible on your used equipment.
